How it started:
This non-traditional journey began long before the purchase of my DSLR. Prior to my latest business venture, I owned a digital marketing agency that focused on establishing digital footprints for small business owners that struggled with marketing their business.
In efforts to establish strong brand identities and voices — the pain points of creating content and gathering quality images for my clients became overwhelming.
These issues prompted me to purchase a DSLR camera with hopes of capturing these images myself, but it wasn’t until meeting a photographer at a networking event that I began to add the necessary skills to call myself a professional.
The newfound skillset of photography, coupled with my digital marketing experience birthed SHOTS by Nik, the photographer who shoots through the lens of a marketer.
